wow. i hope this place is still open. NEED TO GO THERE~


As a former Brooklynite and current Noe Valleyan (and pizza aficionado), I've been anxiously awaiting the opening of Contigo...and that was before I stumbled upon this old post of yours. I would do pretty much anything for a slice of Dom's pizza and whenever I'm back in NY, a trek to Midwood is always on the agenda. So glad that you discovered this for yourself -- and so excited to have you in the neighborhood.


I have a similar story actually, except I didn't miss any flights I just spent over an hour dragging my super pissed off friends all over Napoli to find this pizza place that I had read about in "Eat, Pray, Love" by Elizabeth Gilbert.

It was DEFINITELY worth the wait! The pizza was amazing and didn't even have any cheese on it. I ate an entire medium pizza by myself in roughly 10 minutes... no, not ate, devoured!

I completely understand why you would miss your flight for food... it's always worth it.


What a great story. This is what life is about. The cost? Priceless.
